比学院，看「拿到剑桥offer%」这一列。它＝（本院直接发的 offer ＋ 申请本院、由其他学院从冬池发 offer 的人）÷ 申请本院的人。 由其他学院发 offer 也是拿到了剑桥 offer，所以这一列回答的是：往年申请这所学院的人里，最后有多少拿到了剑桥 offer。
它是往届全体申请人（各国合计）的历史结果，不是任何人的录取概率。比率高，也可能只是因为申请这所学院的人本身更强；不代表这所学院对你更容易。
「其中本院直接offer%」只算本院自己直接发的，永远不大于前一列。不要拿「申请」和「offer总数」相除——offer总数含本院从冬池发给别校申请者的 offer。 带 * 的是十年申请不足 30 人、样本太小的格，一律排在最后、不参与高亮；只招女生的学院（标「女院」）也不参与高亮。 默认已去掉只招 21 岁以上的学院（休斯学堂 Hughes Hall、沃尔森学院 Wolfson、圣埃德蒙学院 St Edmund's，应届高中生不能申请），点「去掉只招 21+ 的学院」可以切换。 点任意一行看十年曲线；勾选学院名左边的圆圈（2–4 所），可以并排对比。

To compare colleges, use the “Cambridge offer rate (any college)” column. It = (offers made directly by this college + applicants to this college who got a Winter Pool offer from another college) ÷ applicants to this college. An offer from another college is still a Cambridge offer, so this column answers: of past applicants to this college, how many ended up with a Cambridge offer?
It is a historical result for all past applicants (all countries combined), not anyone’s chance of admission. A high rate may simply mean the people applying to this college were stronger; it does not mean this college is easier for you.
“Direct offer rate (this college)” counts only offers this college made directly, so it is never higher than the previous column. Don’t divide “Total offers” by “Applications” – total offers include Winter Pool offers this college made to applicants from other colleges. Cells marked * had fewer than 30 applicants over 10 years – too small a sample – so they are always listed last and never highlighted; women-only colleges (marked “Women only”) are not highlighted either. Colleges that only take students aged 21 or over are hidden by default (Hughes Hall, Wolfson, St Edmund's – school leavers can’t apply); use “Hide 21+ colleges” to switch. Cells showing 1–5: as in Cambridge’s official published statistics, counts between 1 and 5 are only published as “≤5”; the Full version has the real numbers. Rates marked ≈ are estimates: the number of applicants made an offer by another college is between 1 and 5 and has been counted as 3.

Offer rate = offers ÷ applications; this division works at school level because the offers a school’s students receive and the applications they made come from the same group of people. A grey offer rate means the school had fewer than 50 applications over 10 years, so one or two people can make the percentage jump a lot – look at the number of offers, not the rate. Many ranks are tied – dozens of schools have just 1 offer in 10 years and share the same rank; when you find your school, its card says how many schools share its rank.
